Reptile Heating Tape

Reptile Heating Tape, or Reptile Heater Wire as it is more commonly referred to, is an inexpensive and lightweight solution to keeping your pet reptile warm in the winter months. There are many brands of Reptile Heating Tape, and they can all claim to be better than the others. If you don’t know much about Reptile Heating Tape, you may assume that there is some other heating system that can provide similar benefits to this product. However, the fact is that it is specifically designed to provide a steady state of heat for reptiles, which is very different from other reptile products such as heat lamps and warm suits.

The way that Reptile Heating Tape works is by creating an ‘ice’ that forms on top of a Reptile heating blanket. Once this ice has developed, it is then wrapped around the base of your pet’s legs. As the cold air is forced through the tape, the heat that is trapped inside is gradually heated up. As time goes by, this heat can be used to help with keeping your pet warm during those cold winter months, and it is also helpful in helping to prevent sudden cold crashes that are so common in the winter.

Bob_steers received his first Reptile Heating Tape from one of our local pet stores, and I have to say that I was impressed! The tape was packaged very simply, and it came complete with some clear instructions on how to use it. After putting the tape on my lizard‘s legs, it didn’t take long for them to begin to feel much warmer than normal. Within just a few days, they were feeling much cooler, and it was apparent that their temperature had dropped considerably. In fact, within a week, they were back to their old self and still much warmer than before.

We have since used Reptile Heating tapes on several other lizards, including a Hypodermic Expander, and on several snakes. It is amazing how quickly the temperatures can drop in snakes, because their skin is much thicker than that of lizards. In addition, because of their size and shape, they can easily be caught out of position during a cold crash. With these particular snakes, we also noticed that the tape did not deteriorate over time, which is a definite bonus.

When you buy the tape, it comes with an ID tag along with it. This tag tells you which thermoplastics you have and what kind of ID (Insect Growth Product) is in that box. The ID tag is important because you will need to know what size you need, what brand of insect growth product you are looking for, and even the color of the product. For example, if you are looking for a ‘green’ Reptile Heating Tape, you will need to make sure that the box says green, not brown, or black. You should also know what type of ID (if you have one) you have. It would be a good idea to write down the identification number of the tape before you store it so you can look it up when you need to use it again.

There is a model of this tape called the Bloxqty. It was created by a company called Blox Products International, who are well known around the internet for making really great products. The model in question is the ‘Beer Control’ version and is perfect for keeping reptiles like snakes cool during those long winter months when the ground can easily become too warm. The tape itself is a thick, insulated material that is designed to provide just the right amount of warmth for these animals. It is important to note, however, that it is only a single piece and can break after sustained exposure to temperature fluctuations.

There is a reason why the Bloxqty is being used by more manufacturers than any other product on the market right now. Because of its unique design, this type of snake enclosure provides the easiest cleaning possible. If you’re looking to clean this, you only need to roll it up and stick it in a washing machine. Believe it or not, this can be done in less time than you might think. This is thanks to the special anti-bacterial properties it possesses, which keep it able to keep growing at an even rate without causing any problems for the people working around it.

So, if you’re looking for a way to keep your snake out of the cold, this is a great option. I wouldn’t recommend this for lizards and snakes that are small because you will be using a lot of room. For larger reptiles like rock lizards or boas, the tape is definitely a step above regular tape. Just remember, don’t overdo it. As long as you do it regularly enough, you shouldn’t have any problems with your pet snake getting too hot.
