lizard drawing is one of the most popular hobbies for both children and adults. This is because it is very interesting as well as educational. You can start it as early as your toddler years. At that age, most kids would already love to have anything related to reptiles in their room. Here you’ll use a gray colored crayon to draw the head of your snake.

Once drawn, said once you’re a pro, would make you an expert. Please do share this article with your close friends, if it helped you. Thank you. In this article we will focus on the first two steps in learning how to draw a lizard.

The first step in learning how to draw a lizard is to understand the details of its body. Understand the structure of its body, including its legs and tail. Your lizard’s head, or lower jaw, should be located forward in relation to its long neck and ears. It’s fins are also important to note since they will guide you to the right position when drawing its tail.

The next step to learning how to draw a lizard is related to the two preceding steps. From the head we go to the eyes. Note the color of the iris, which is the light colored part in the eye. Next we go to the nose, the triangular shape of the nose, and finally we come to the mouth, which must have broad white teeth. The lower half of the lizard’s body should be in a similar color to its head. On the lower body, notice the small tail that may be visible when the lizard’s legs are outstretched.

Moving on from the head, we move to the tail. Again, the step by step process of drawing a lizard can be helpful in this step. In step one we saw the outline of the head and now we see the outline of the tail. We need to remember that you must make sure you draw the lizard in the correct proportion to its size.

The next step in the lizard drawing process is to be able to determine where the joint spaces between the legs should be. In this step we use the sketch toes method. Sketch feet using the lines that are drawn as guides, and be certain to have one foot inside the lines at all times. This is important because the lizard drawing process is done with the legs straight and not bent.

The final step is to learn how to draw a lizard’s head and tail. Start by drawing the head on a paper. Be certain to draw in a realistic manner so as to get a realistic looking creature. If you have trouble drawing the head, try to draw it upside down. For the rest of the body of your animal drawing, learn how to draw it in the same way.

The next step in lizard drawing is to outline the rest of the body. To do this, draw a rough sketch on the paper first followed by a soft pencil or marker. Be sure to have a comfortable place where you can be for the duration of this step. If you can’t afford to have a stool or a table for the duration, you may want to consider a small stool or a large table which will serve as a good stand.

The first two steps in this tutorial were sufficient to get you started on your lizard drawing adventure. It’s time to learn about the more complex details such as breathing and the outline. This is the step that could take a little practice if you are new to drawing. If you have trouble drawing curved lines, try drawing them straight or using a guide.

I started this tutorial with a couple of my lizards in my spare time. It turned out to be an excellent introduction to the hobby. The two lizards I drew were very straightforward in their features and the diagrams showed what needed to be done. The next lizard drawing I attempted was a bit more complicated as it was a two legged creature with its tail in the air. In this case, using a guide helped me keep things in perspective.

After completing this short tutorial, you should be able to follow along with ease. There are other things you need to learn, but the steps in this tutorial should get you started in no time.
