How to Draw Iguanas – The Easy Way
The main step of all iguana drawing is to learn to understand the shapes and the lines that make up the iguana’s body. You can start by drawing the head and face first. The top of the head should be in a level position so that it looks like it has a narrow neck. This will give you an easier time when you are drawing the rest of the iguana’s body later on.
When you have finished with the head, you can move on to the next part of the iguana drawing called the body. The first thing that you need to do when learning how to draw reptiles is to learn a little about iguana anatomy. You have to know that reptiles have three different parts. These parts are their head, body and tail.
The next step is to learn a little about the various characteristics of each part of the iguana’s body. In this step you will draw the various colors and patterns on the body. In this section you will also learn how to draw the eyes. The next step in the series is to learn how to draw the legs. By the time you are finished with this step you will have learned all of the important things that you need to know to draw a perfect iguana.
iguana drawing involves a lot of skills such as drawing the head and using curved lines. First of all, you have to learn how to draw the head and eyes correctly. You have to be careful when drawing the eyes because they are shaped differently in the iguana than they are in the human or the canine. The next thing that you have to keep in mind when drawing these creatures is that you have to be careful not to draw the tail too closely to the body.
The next step is to draw the general pattern of the iguana. Start with the lower part of its back and continue your journey upwards. Use light strokes and short sharp ones when drawing. At the same time don’t forget to add shading to the body and its features. This can be done by using a light color like gray or brown.
The fourth step is to draw two oval shapes on top of the head. These will become the eyes. The fifth step is to take off some of the fur to reveal its dark spots. You should also add some more details like a tuft of hair along with tiny wrinkles here and there.
The last step that you should follow in this series of drawing is to draw the head, tail and its large hind limb separately. Afterward you can start coloring the rest of the body with more dark and light shades. The last step involves creating the outline and coloring of the whole picture.
In the last step we are going to look at how we can add shading to the drawing by using curved lines. First of all we need to add highlights to areas where we have drawn the highlights in the previous steps. Once you are done with these steps, you can now begin working on the back of the iguana’s body. You should make sure you draw the back in a similar way as you did for the front leg. Now that you have finished this you can now go ahead and learn how to draw an iguana.
In the first step-by-step drawing lesson, we took a look at the body of the iguana. Now that you have completed the body of the iguana, you can move on to the next part of the lesson and that is the head. In the previous lesson we started with the head, now let us continue and learn how to draw the rest of the iguana’s body. You start off by creating a hood over the head. You can do this by pinning down one side of the skull and pulling the other two sides out.
The next step is to create the beard, which is done by pinning down a straight line across the top of the forehead. Once you have drawn these curved lines, you can continue on and create the neck and beard. This takes a lot of time and effort, but once you have learnt how to draw these parts you will have no trouble doing them when it comes to your drawings. Continue to the next step and learn how to draw a perfect jaw.
The final step in the 8 step-by-step drawing lesson is to learn how to draw the hind leg. In this lesson you will draw the hind leg in two different angles. Once you have drawn the hind leg you can go back to the previous step and continue to learn how to draw all of the other parts of the iguana. After you have learnt how to draw all of the body parts and the hind leg, you are now ready to move onto learning how to draw the head, eyes, and tail.
