A rather stunning looking snake species is the dragon snake, also known as the black snake. It really looks like something from an old Japanese cartoon! Perhaps this snake has been related to the black snake of the Chinese Zodiac, in which the dragon face is widely featured. Unfortunately, there really is not much solid information on this snake, because of its extremely elusive nature.

In general, when you see dragon snakes, they are long and serpentine in shape. They have grayish colored skin, with a number of dark-colored spots located on their back. The legs are very long, nearly up to the creature’s shoulder.

There is much information on the Black Rat Dragon Snake, including where it comes from, what it eats and how to care for and handle these fascinating snakes. These creatures are very shy and will often hide completely from humans, except to bite accidentally or to escape predators. These snakes do not usually make a great pet, because they are such a gentle and slow-moving snake. Many times, the keeper must be specially trained to handle and breed these lovely reptiles. The Black Rat Dragon Snake is not typically a good choice for the beginning keeper, because they are so shy and retiring, and can get easily bored.

These beautiful dragon snakes are a reptile with beautiful colors, and are not only a source for great entertainment, but they are also very nutritious. They live in an area where temperatures stay mostly around seventy degrees Fahrenheit, and they do well in captivity, eating slugs, crayfish, worms, and insects. Because they are not aggressive, a beginner keeper should not get a large snake, unless it is bred specifically for such conditions. Because of their retentive powers and long legs, they can easily glide through the entire length of most three rows of windows, so they are not suited for apartment dwelling keeping, unless the owner is willing to allow the animal to move freely and not be confined in any one space.

When you are ready to start your research, and determine the size and enclosure needed for this wonderful pet, you will need to decide if you would like to raise the lizard in an outdoor or indoor enclosure. These types of lizards have a few things in common, including the tendency to be shy, and to occasionally become somewhat stubborn about its environment. They do great in a captive habitat that is similar to their natural habitat, so they will not have to deal with drastic changes in this area. Lizards like the Red Back Spider, will often stiffen up in an enclosure of substrate, so they may not be a good choice for new dragon snake owners. The Greenback Spider may also become stiff and cold, if the tank is left stagnant.

The most important aspect of setting up a habitat for your dragon snakes is to set it up so the humidity is where it needs to be. This can be tricky, as some people believe you can change the temperature of the enclosure, but you cannot. This is because the humidity is controlled by the evaporation process in the soil. An expert tip is to place a piece of wet newspaper directly on the bottom of the enclosure, as this will help maintain the proper humidity level.

If you are going to have nightshade frogs in your enclosure, you will want to make sure that you have a good way to feed them. One of the best methods is to have a frog or a nightshade in your tank, and have the food placed at their feeding locations. Then place a small net over the feeding location, to keep the insects away from the food. If you are using frogs, make sure that you have a frog feeder fish that will keep them from going into your tank. There are many types of frogs and there are many types of feeder fish available.

If you are looking for a very easy pet that will not take up much room, then the dragon snake may be the right choice for you. These snakes are very intelligent, and they will adapt to any environment that they are raised in. The biggest question that you should ask yourself before buying a javanicus is whether or not you can get three rows of them. The biggest problems associated with these snakes, occurs if you do not have enough of them in your tank.
